Getting started
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The site visit, the diagnosis and the written proposal are free and come with no obligation.
What areas do you serve?
Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee. The service areas page lists 36 of them with an interactive map.
Do you work on homes and businesses?
Both. We handle residential yards and sewer lines and commercial properties, restaurants and multi-unit buildings.
What should I do before you come?
Take photos or video of the problem, note when it happens (after rain, when the washer runs) and locate your downspouts and cleanout if you can.
Yard drainage
What causes standing water in a yard?
Compacted clay, low spots with no outlet, downspouts, slopes sending water your way and sometimes high groundwater. A site visit pins down which.
What is the best fix for a wet yard?
It depends on how the water arrives. Subsurface water suits a French drain, surface sheet flow a channel drain or swale, and a low spot a catch basin. Many yards need a combination.
How long does a drainage project take?
Many yard drainage projects take one to three days. Larger or more complex properties take longer, and we give a schedule with the proposal.
Will it tear up my yard?
Trenching is real digging, but we protect what we can, stage the soil and restore with sod, seed, rock or mulch.
CIPP pipe lining
What is CIPP pipe lining?
Cured-in-place pipe lining installs a resin-saturated liner inside an existing pipe and cures it into a new, seamless pipe, without digging a long trench.
How do I know if my pipe can be lined?
A camera inspection shows the pipe’s shape and condition. Cracks, joint failures, roots and light corrosion are usually good candidates. Collapsed or badly bellied pipe is not.
How long does lining last?
Industry sources commonly cite design lives of around 50 years for properly installed liners. Actual results depend on the pipe and conditions.
Is lining cheaper than digging?
Often once you count restoring the driveway, landscaping and trees. In an open yard with a short run, digging can be competitive. Our Dig vs Line planner shows how the factors compare.
Drain cleaning & emergencies
What is the difference between snaking and hydro jetting?
A snake bores through a blockage. Jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the whole pipe wall, which is better for grease, scale and roots.
Are chemical drain cleaners okay?
We generally advise against them. They can damage pipes, are hazardous and often leave the real cause in place.
What do I do in a sewer backup?
Stop using water, keep people and pets away and call (615) 393-6985. Avoid contact with the water.
Can you inspect my sewer before I buy a house?
Yes. A camera scope shows the pipe material, condition, roots and bellies, and we give you the video.
Costs & scheduling
How much does a French drain cost?
It varies with length, depth, soil, access and the outlet. Our estimator gives a planning range, and your written proposal gives the exact figure.
Can I do the project in phases?
Yes. We prioritize the areas that threaten the house first.
Can I pay over time?
Many customers do. Financing options and terms vary, so ask us what is available when you request your proposal.
Do you give written proposals?
Yes, in plain language, with the scope, materials and what is included.
